Pedestrian Access Gates

Motorised pedestrian gates use compact swing or sliding motor units specifically designed for lightweight pedestrian-scale gates and doors. A DC motor drives the gate leaf through an arm or linear actuator mechanism, opening and closing the gate automatically upon receiving a trigger signal.

Access triggers include proximity card readers, biometric scanners, video intercom call buttons, remote controls, and push-to-exit buttons. The control board manages the opening sequence, hold-open timer, and closing cycle. Safety sensors detect obstacles in the gate's path and reverse direction to prevent injury.

These systems are commonly installed at pedestrian entrances alongside vehicle gates, providing a dedicated secure walkway for foot traffic. They integrate with the same access control infrastructure as vehicle gates, allowing a single credential to operate both pedestrian and vehicle barriers.
